“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” – Hippocrates
Eating a healthy and nutritious diet is vital for good health and wellbeing. Food provides our bodies with energy, protein, essential fats, vitamins and minerals to enable us to live, repair ourselves, grow and function properly. The concept of a balanced diet is well known, but what actually is a balanced diet? Each person is a unique individual with their own health issues, and nutritional needs – one man’s food is another man’s poison! When things go wrong, diet may play an integral part in repair and bringing a person back to good health as well as being the main problem in the first place. At Physical Nutrition, we endeavor to find the optimal diet for each individual in order that they may live the best and healthiest life possible. Services include:
ONE ON ONE CLINICAL NUTRITION CONSULTATIONS
Individual nutrition consultations will allow your nutritionist to gather a comprehensive history of food intake and health issues. The information provided will be used to formulate an optimal nutrition plan for weight loss, healing, management of chronic disease, sports performance etc.

FOOD ALLERGY AND INTOLERANCE TESTING
We use a wide variety of different testing from different labs to assess a client’s reactivity to foods and use the results to treat a wide variety of gut disorders such as chronic heartburn and indigestion, constipation and diarrhoea and bloating. The test is an easy blood spot test taken from a finger prick (external full blood draw may be required for some tests) and is carried out in the Physical Nutrition Clinic.
