WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAMS
At Physical Nutrition, we are experts in weight loss and have options available to suit everyone. We have individual and group weight loss programs designed to effect healthy eating habits, reset dysfunctional hormones, bring about steady, sustained weight loss and help you reach your health goals. Weight loss can be incredibly complex and is more than just energy in versus energy out. When we work with our clients we look at all aspect of their health including gut health, hormones, genetics, and the mental side of weight loss such as a lifetime of bad habits and unhealthy food choices.
Individual Weight Loss Programs
Individual weight loss programs are designed for the person who prefers to work with their nutritionist on a one to one basis or has health issues that would not be addressed sufficiently in a group program. If a person has been very overweight for a long time they may have factors such as insulin resistance, thyroid disorders, gut disorders etc that may be preventing them from reaching their target weight . An individual approach allows the nutritionist to fully assess the client’s health and allow them to take a very holistic approach to both weight loss and healing areas that require attention. Initial consultations are 1 hour 15 minutes long and are a fact finding mission. Subsequent follow-ups are 45 minutes long, and shorter follow ups of 20-minutes are incorporated once the client is on track, health issues are on the mend and they are comfortable with the dietary changes that they need to make. Regular visits of 1-2 weeks are recommended at the beginning of the program, but this can reduce to monthly visits once steady weight loss is achieved.
Individual programming can include diet plans, blood/urine/saliva testing, body composition analysis, and body measurements. Whatever is prescribed, the client will understand exactly what they need to do after every visit to effect they changes they require.

GROUP WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAMS
Our ‘5 in 10′ and ’10 in 20’ programs are designed to give you all of the tools and motivation you need to reach your weight loss goals.
5 IN 10
The ‘5 In 10’ program is designed to have you 5kgs down in 10 weeks. The weight loss is steady and sustained – no more crash diets and yoyo dieting. This is all about lifestyle change. If you only have a few kgs to lose or you want to try out our programs before going for a greater weight loss then this is the program for you.
10KGS BY XMAS
The ’10 KGS BY XMAS’ program is designed to have you 10kgs down in 20 weeks, just in time for Christmas! Again, the weight loss is steady and sustained, and designed to stay off. If you have 10kgs+ to lose then this is the program for you.
Groups have a maximum number of 10 participants in each program.
INCLUDED IN GROUP WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAMS:
- Fortnightly meetings with your nutritionist in the Physical Nutrition Clinic to track how you are doing and make changes if necessary.
- Fortnightly body composition analysis and body measurements to assess progress.
- A 14-Day meal plan with 42+ recipes designed specifically with your needs in mind. We have vegan, vegetarian, gluten and dairy free, Mediterranean, Primal, Paleo, and Keto meals plans available.
